Description of experience:: Taking a shower, I thought I heard my dog whining to come in. I went to my door and whistled and said "Trixie". A sound imitated my tone/whistle/Trixie. I did it again and the sound did it again. I looked around and when I looked up there were 5 red round lights always lit but a "beam" went around them 5 lighting each one up as it went around brighter. I grabbed a jacket, hair wet, and went outside to check this out. It moved closer to me and hovered, I smelled this smell, like a strange/mild smell which I assumed was from that since I never smelled it before or again. I kept talking to it spinning around and looking again to see if it was still there (it was). I had time to go in and get a hat, go to neighbors houses to get someone to see this, no one home, it seemed like it took 20 to 30 minutes or so for the whole episode. The "thing" disappeared up into the cloud cover and came back out closer to me at the end of its time. The last time it appeared it only stayed around 10 minutes or so. Then it went up into the cloud cover. The night was cloud covered so when it appeared the first time it had to be below the clouds. Also traffic and activity started happening about 15 minutes or so after it last disappeared. I remember telling my boyfriend and friends about it. Some of the friends stated they have seen the same thing in the past. We went to top of a hill looking again but I have not seen it again. I do hear the noise it made every so often but I have been afraid/scared to look now that I'm older. Once my children grow up and I have less responsibilities for others I will look for it again. I feel it knew I was there and I was chosen to experience everything I did. When I was younger I thought I saw a UFO but my memory of childhood is vague. My brother reminds me of the incident of seeing one. I never have had a way to tell what I have seen. Not too many UFO's looked like the one I saw on TV. There have been a couple just don't remember where/when. I'm glad I experienced this but people are skeptical and I wish there was more proof to support these incidents, I definitely believe since I experienced it. Also my father swears he saw one also in his lifetime, so at least there are a few people who understand. One thing, I have not stopped thinking about my experience since it was unexplainable. It stays on my mind, not interferring with everyday life though. Just a thought I've had in my mind, I was wondering if there was more to my encounter that I don't remember or when they'll be back and if they are monitoring me since they "called me" and knew I was below them acknowledging their presence. Well thanks for letting me get this out for the first time publicly. It is something I have been wanting to do whether anyone believes me or not.

Description of experience:: Its saturday night and Im standing on the deck to my apartment with a friend.The deck is attached to the upper level of the house. Its a really nice clear night. lots of stars and a pretty good wind blowing. Theres alot of air traffic in the sky, but there usually is. I live on Long Island not far from Kennedy airport. So we're just standing there on the deck looking out at a northern sky and talking about football and whatever. After about five minutes out there I lifted my head a little higher and out of no where... I see this thing moving from right to left on an angle downward towards the tree line at an incredible rate of speed! This thing is huge and silent! It looks like a giant bataan with a very dimly lit sphere on each end. I watched it for at least 5 seconds as it headed from east to west. As it hit the tree line it made an exact 90 degree left turn heading south and blinked out. I was really blown away. 4 things... It was huge, It was silent, it made a 90 degree turn (into the wind) and the shape was shall we say, out of this world? This thing was at least 5 jumbo jets in length and that might be a conservative estimation! I have never been so blown away from somthing in my life. I don't think words can describe how incredible this was! my friend and I ran accross the street to my sisters to tell her and my wife what happened.

Brief description:: Just had dinner 1/2 up the Eifel Tower in a restaurant called Jules Verne, were sitting down to have after Dinner drinks at the piano bar, there were six of us and I hadn't quite finised sitting down when I noticed approximately 12 lights traveling across the sky all moving exactly the same, but not in any type of formation. I immediately said to the person next to me, "what is that, what is that, several times, he looked and I grabbed him by his arm and pulled him up to the glass. As he was looking where I initially pointed, I followed the lights across a large section of the sky until they disappeared into the clouds or just dissapeared. The person I grabbed saw nothing.
Brief description of emotions/feelings:: disbelief. I immediately started looking around for anything that might have caused this. I only explained to the person I had grabbed, because I was embarrased, I didn't even tell my husband.

Description of experience:: I already told you a brief description above, the only other thing I could tell you was that I was not looking out the window when these lights caught my attention. The lights did not change size or brightness even as I approched the window. I was approximately 6 feet from the window when I first saw them. They moved from right to left in my field of vision. If I had to tell you the distance, I would say from the Left Bank of Paris (right to left) to Napoleans tomb, this is the direction. They were not extremly bright, it was almost like seeing bright lights thru a fog. This whole experienced happend under 10 seconds. I was wondering if there might be any others who reported sighting in Paris that same evening.

Description of experience:: It was about 11:35 pm totally dark, but not a cloud in the sky approx. 58 degrees F. Driving home and a very big bright light in the sky not to far up, definately not a star or airplane just hovered there for up to about 35-40 sec. Then different colored lights started to flash then all of a sudden disappeared in a flash. It was the strangest thing. My boyfriend was in his car behind me, so I pulled over, and he said he had seen the really bright light in the sky too, but didn't concentrate to hard on it.

Description of experience:: My girlfriend her friend and I were sitting in the hot ub enjoying the sunrise when both my girlfriend and I saw a bright light moving fery fast from south to north, It seemed to be around 3000ft above ground and was not blinking like a plane it was also going much faster than any jet I've seen as it went over the rof my girlfriend went to wtch it further.She said that it just kept going to the north then dissapeared.It only took about 25 seconds too go rom horizon to horizon.
